The role
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just coordinate events from a desk - but takes ownership of both the events and clients from start to finish. Our Event Managers are hands-on: you build your customer relationships, call sheets, procure and brief subcontractors, keep clients confident in the run-up and are not afraid to step in and make split decisions during live. You’d own a portfolio of around 20 clients that are yours to look after and grow and create amazing events together with them. We work mostly with listed companies Investor Relations Communications, so AGM's, CMD's and Q-events is our bread and butter.
We’re looking for one or two people, and the role can be shaped around your experience - from someone earlier in their career growing into the work, to a senior profile who owns complex events and clients independently and maybe with some special skills or focus-areas. More than anything, attitude and the ability to lead yourself and people around you matter most to us - the rest can be taught. We are looking for
What you’ll do
Plan, budget and deliver a diverse set of events end-to-end - from sales to procurement, organizing our internal work, preparing event-shedules, consulting around materials and presentations, and execution of events.
Source, brief and coordinate subcontractors and freelancers.
Keep clients and speakers informed and confident ahead of their live events.
Be hands-on on the event day - often running the floor yourself, together with our tech and design colleagues.
Grow your accounts by spotting needs and expanding how clients use us, sales.
Wrap up events with follow-ups, data checks and billing.
Who you are
Self-steering, above all. You make decisions, respect our advice-culture, communicate proactively and move things forward without waiting to be told. This matters to us more than anything on your CV.
Hands-on and unflustered. You’re as comfortable building a call sheet and running a floor as you are in a C-level conversation.
Calm when it counts. Live broadcasts and reporting seasons get hectic - you keep a clear head and focus on solutions.
Reliable and detail-aware. You notice the small things and work on solutions before they are needed.
A strong communicator in Finnish and English. Swedish is a plus.
Genuinely interested in investor communications - and motivated by doing things well.
Digitally aware. All our events are digital in some way, so some technical awareness helps you on the way.
Practical requirements
Based in Helsinki, with hybrid working from our office at Porkkalankatu 5.
Fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.
We work mostly weekdays between 8-17 because of our clientele, but occasional early morning or weekend/evening builds and travel are needed for larger events.
